Scott Challinor has been with Conover Law, LLC since 2014.  Scott’s practice focuses on probate, trust and protective proceeding litigation, fiduciary representation, and appeals.  Scott graduated with a B.A. in History from The Colorado College, a M.Phil in International Politics from the University of Glasgow, and his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Scott is active with the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, for which he currently serves as Vice Chair for the 2023-2024 term, and will serve as Chair for the 2024-2025 term, and also chairs a subsection focused on appellate cases and issues related to estates, trusts, and protective proceedings.  Scott is also a frequent presenter on issues related to elder law, estates and trusts, most recently presenting the annual case-law update at both the Domestic Relations and Probate Institute, an annual seminar for judges and court staff, as well the annual Elder Law Retreat of the Colorado Bar Association.

Outside of the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, hiking in the mountains, and losing balls on the golf course.
